Arusha Eco Lodge is a brand new hotel, just opened in July 2026. It is a small exclusive place with only 12 rooms, scattered between acacia trees in a beautiful garden, far from the noise of the hectic city of Arusha. Here you can relax by the lovely swimming pool, and dine in their restaurant, which probably has the best view in the whole area. Arusha Eco Lodge is beautifully located on a hilltop outside Arusha, with the most amazing view of the surrounding countryside, with fields and scattered houses, and with the 4,566 meter tall Mount Meru, in the background. On clear days, you can glimpse Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. This location, on the "safari-side" of town, is the perfect starting point for safaris, as you avoid the traffic through town, and arrive in the parks around 1 hour earlier, than from hotels on the other side of town. "We try to be as sustainable as possible, so we run on solar energy and have our own plantation that supplies produce to the restaurant".
