In north Asheville, North Carolina, The Reynolds Mansion Bed & Breakfast Inn is one of fewer than ten pre-Civil War brick homes surviving in western North Carolina, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Eight guest rooms in the main house and three suites in the Carriage House sit on four private acres at the foot of Reynolds Mountain, with Blue Ridge views — private and serene, yet minutes from Asheville's shopping and dining, the Biltmore Estate, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. No two rooms are alike: claw foot tubs, canopy beds, twelve-foot ceilings, Jacuzzi tubs and private decks in the Carriage House. Gas fireplaces in eight of the eleven rooms, and 3,000 sq ft of porches. Every morning, chef-innkeeper Paul Manshon prepares a four-course gourmet breakfast from scratch in the grand dining room. Classically trained with three decades in hospitality, he changes the menu daily. Free private parking. Dogs up to 35 lbs in the Carriage House. Guests 16 and older.
